Last season on Rock Star, INXS was looking for a new talent to replace the vacant spot of lead singer for their pseudo new wave, trendsetting band. This season the aim is slightly different, four bandless, out of work rockstars have come together to form a supergroup. They are following in the footsteps of such greats as Cream, AudioSlave, Damn Yankees and Velvet Revolver. This supergroup, however, is slightly different. Instead of recruiting from the legions of legendary rockstars at their disposal they are going to be "auditioning" a fresh face.
Right now the band consists of:
Jason Newstead From Metallica
Tommy Lee From Motley Crue
Gilby Clarke From Guns N' Roses
And a soon to be named frontwoman (yes you read that right, probably Storm Large).
